Create a New Lead

In Buscoou PRO, creating a new lead is simple and can be done through multiple methods.

Step 1: Access the Leads Section

  • Navigate to Sales -> Leads from the left-side menu.
  • Click the New Lead button.

Step 2: Quick Create Option

For a faster approach, you can use the Quick Create menu:

  • Click the caret icon (▼) at the top left.
  • Select New Lead.
  • A modal window will open, allowing you to create a lead from any page inside Buscoou PRO.

Step 3: Public or Private Lead

  • If you mark the lead as public, it will be visible to all staff members.
  • If left private, it will be visible only to:
    ✅ The assigned staff member.
    ✅ The lead creator.
    Administrators.

Additionally, if you want specific staff members to view all leads, you can assign view permissions.

Step 4: Who Can See the Leads?

Leads can be created by any staff member. However, staff members who are not administrators can only see a lead in the following cases:
✅ If they created the lead themselves.
✅ If the lead is marked as public.
✅ If the lead was assigned to them, even if they were not the creator.

Step 5: Contacted Today Field

  • If you contacted the lead on the same day you added it, keep the "Contacted Today" field checked.
  • If unchecked, the system will not update the database with today’s contact date.
