How to Configure Payment Modes

In Buscoou PRO, you can set up multiple payment methods to facilitate transactions for your customers. These modes can be used for invoices, expenses, and online payments.

Step 1: Adding a New Payment Mode

1. Navigate to Setup -> Finance -> Payment Modes.

2. Click on New Payment Mode (top left button).

3. Fill in the following fields:

   ✅ Payment Mode Name – e.g., Bank Transfer, Credit Card, PayPal.
   ✅ Bank Accounts / Description – Enter bank details (e.g., account number, IBAN, SWIFT code).
   ✅ Active – Enable/Disable the payment mode. If disabled, it won’t appear in invoices.
   ✅ Show Bank Accounts / Description on Invoice PDF – Check this option to display bank details on invoice PDFs.
   ✅ Selected by Default on Invoice – If checked, this payment mode will be pre-selected when creating new invoices.
   ✅ Expenses Only / Invoices Only – If this mode is only for invoices, check Invoices Only; otherwise, it will also appear for expenses.

4. Click Save to apply the changes.

📌 Offline vs. Online Payment Modes:

• Offline payment modes (e.g., bank transfer, cash) are managed in Setup -> Finance -> Payment Modes.
• Online payment modes (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) must be configured in Setup -> Settings -> Payment Gateways.
  
  

  Step 2: Troubleshooting Payment Modes Not Showing on Invoices

  If a payment mode is missing from invoices:

  ✔️ Ensure it is enabled under Setup -> Finance -> Payment Modes.
  ✔️ Check if the mode is restricted to expenses only (it won’t show in invoices).
  ✔️ If it is a bank transfer, verify that bank details are entered correctly.
  ✔️ If using an online payment gateway, confirm that it is properly configured under Setup -> Settings -> Payment Gateways.
