When a user submits a ticket through this form, it will be automatically created in the system. For example, if you have five websites, you can embed this form on all of them. Each submission will generate a ticket in Buscoou PRO, ensuring that your support team can manage and respond to requests efficiently. If the email provided in the form matches an existing customer contact, the ticket will be automatically linked to that customer.

Steps to Configure the Ticket Form

1. Enable the Ticket Form

  • Navigate to Settings → Support → Ticket Form.
  • Copy the provided iframe embed code and paste it into the desired section of your website.

2. Adding Custom Fields

  • If you need additional fields, go to Setup → Custom Fields and create a new field for Tickets.
  • Select the checkbox "Show on ticket form" to make it visible in the embedded form.

3. Assigning Tickets to Specific Departments (Optional)

Starting from version 2.1.1, you can automatically assign tickets to different departments by modifying the form URL.

  • To find the Department ID, go to Setup → Support → Departments.
  • Modify the ticket form URL to include the department ID: arduino

  • When a user submits the form, the ticket will be automatically assigned to the selected department.
  • The department selection field will be hidden from the user to streamline the process.

4. Important Considerations When Embedding the Form

  • If Buscoou PRO is installed using HTTP, the form should be placed on a webpage without SSL.
  • If Buscoou PRO is installed using HTTPS, ensure the form is embedded in an HTTPS-secured webpage.
  • Mismatching HTTP/HTTPS protocols can cause the form to malfunction.
